Strike: Labour Leaders Are Only After Their Pockets – Oladoja

Prominent stalwart of the Oyo State chapter, People’s Democratic (PDP) in Oyo State, Mogaji Olawale Oladoja has stated that the leadership of labour unions in Nigeria are only after their selfish interest and not generality of their members.

Mogaji Oladoja stated this in an interview with Journalists in Ibadan on Friday morning.

The Ibadan family head compound was reacting to the strike threat by leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress.

He queried the existing relationship between Joe Ajaero led NLC and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party adding that Nigerian workers should no longer be taken for granted by the elite under the guise of fighting for workers right.

He cautioned NLC leadership to shelve the strike and cooperate with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration in moving the nation forward and not play politics with the future of Nigeria.
