A prominent Ibadan based cleric, Pastor Isaiah Olu Alade popularly called Omo Woli has advised Christian leaders to desist from unnecessary patronage of political office holders but only give them useful advice.
Olu Alade stated this while speaking with journalist at the 33rd anniversary of Christ The Light Gospel Church, Ibadan.
Pastor Isaiah Alade who is also the Convener of the Popular programme, “Mercy Once Again” advised clerics to stay in their office and operate as clerics rather than meddling in politics and politicians’ affairs.
He said their major responsibility is to pray fervently for the leaders and give them advice on how to move the nation forward.
The Cleric charged them to continue to stand in the gap for the nation and preach only messages of hope.
