Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (P.O.F) Donates Cash Gift To Less Privileged In Ibadan

An international non-governmental organisation on Thursday made a cash donation to less privileged in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

The effort was in partnership with the Ibadan Anglican Diocese as part of the Diocese annual “Jesus Festival” and held at Cathedral of St James Hall, Oke Bola, Ibadan.

While welcoming members of the foundation to the event, the President, Anglican Women Organisation and wife of the Diocesan, Mrs Comfort Akinfenwa applauded the kind gesture of the donor which she described as a sensitive one to the plight of indigent members of the public.

She explained that the P.O.F is one of the numerous partners and friends of the diocese who ensures that the less needy and less privileged have access to quality living.

She advised well-meaning individuals and organisations in society to emulate the good gesture of the organisation on assisting less privileged.

In his remark, the President and Founder, P.O.F, Mr Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) who was represented by the Secretary, board of trustees, P.O.F, Rev Joseph Ademola Dopamu pointed out that the cash is donated basically to complement the effort of Ibadan Anglican Diocese in the care of the needy.

Dopamu explained that one of the essences of the foundation is to cater for the the needy, uplift them and renew their hopes, adding that the organisation had spent several millions of Naira in ensuring poverty is drastically reduced in the society.

He concluded that the organisation is positioned to do more, especially across the thirty three local government areas of Oyo state.
