The Acting Provost of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele Ibadan, Pharmacist Oluyemisi Oyewo has congratulated the Admission Officer, Pastor Olugbemiga Samson Makinde for receiving the year 2021 Most Efficient Civil Servant of Oyo State Award, describing it as well deserved.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued in Ibadan by the College Public Relations Officer, Mr Sola Samuel OJEWOLE on behalf of the Acting Provost.
The OYSCHST boss commended Pastor Makinde for contributing his own quota towards the progress of the foremost Health Institution.
Pharm Oluyemisi Oyewo thanked the Honourable Commissioner of the Supervising Ministry of the College, Ministry of Health, Dr Olabode Ladipo for his support towards the progress of the College.
She equally lauded the OYSCHST Governing Council headed by Dr Aaron Ola Ogundiwin for doing their best to ensure that the College attains an enviable height.
The Acting Provost also eulogized the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for creating an enabling and conducive environment for learning and for his ceaseless support for the College. Pharm.
Oluyemisi Oyewo called on the staff of the College to emulate the virtues and attributes of Pastor O. S. Makinde by rededicating themselves to hard work and discharge of their duties with diligence.
It would be recalled that last year, the Year 2020 State Merit Award was bestowed on the Acting Provost, who was then the Deputy Provost and Head of the Pharmacy Technicians’ Department of the College.
This is the second consecutive time such a prestigious Award would be conferred on Management Staff of the College, which is indicative of a new dawn of glory for the College established in 1933.
