Oyo Guber Hopeful Congratulates Akibio, Ilora Indigenes On 30th Ilora Day Celebrations

Oyo State Governorship hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) has felicitates HRM Oba Stephen Olufemi Oyeniyi Ilufemiloye Gbadewolu OPARINDE II, the Akibio of Ilora on the 2024 Ilora day celebration.

Olaoluwa, in a release on Friday through his media office, described this year “Ilora Day” as “epoch and historical,” especially as it marks thirty years of the celebration.

He explained that Ilora, as one of the major towns in Afijio local government in Oyo State, remains significant in the development of Afijio and Oyo State as a whole.

Olaoluwa, a Chartered Accountant and President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation (P.O.F), extolled the great virtues of Akibio of Ilora who he described as a well respected monarch not only in Afijio but across the state.

He pledged his unalloyed support to the monarch and the people of Ilora on the occasion of Ilora day and promised to visit the monarch and the town soon.

Olaoluwa prayed for long life for Akibio, the Chiefs and all-round development for Ilora town, Afijio local government, and Oyo State as a whole.
