The President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, (POF) and governorship hopeful in the state, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA has declared that he will work towards putting the state in the map of development in the global stage.
Olaoluwa stated this while meeting with elders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in the three local governments in the Ogbomoso area, which includes Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Orire local government.
Olaoluwa, a United States of America based Philantropist and Chartered Accountant, expressed his desire and readiness to become Governor in 2027, stating that he had been preparing himself for the job for the task through his various philanthropy and leadership attainment.
He described the current state of pace setter as unacceptable and called for concerted efforts of the leaders to ensure the return of APC back to Agodi Government House.
He berated various elephant projects by the current PDP administration in the state despite the increased allocations from the federal government in the last two years.
He promised to give priority to agriculture, youth empowerment, and improved standard of education across the state if given the opportunity to govern the state from May 29, 2027.
He expressed dissatisfaction to the present condition of education in the state, especially primary and secondary education, which should be basic education for all children in the state.
Olaoluwa also assured of the provision of loans and grants to small-scale traders across the state to boost their trades and businesses.
Olaoluwa said he’s only consulting the leaders at present, promising to consult with all stakeholders and interests within the party, that his is a political movement that is all-encompassing.
“Mine is a political movement, and so every leader, opinion moulder, youth, woman will be consulted.”
In their responses, some of the leaders and members of the exco commended the guber hopeful for his determination to bring good governance to the state.
They also used the meeting to appeal to the aspirant not to abandon the party no matter the outcome of the primaries.
