On Friday, the National Hospital in Abuja released a statement on gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu’s autopsy results.
While speaking about the autopsy performed on Osinachi, the hospital stated that only the police would be able to share the results of the autopsy.
The Nigeria Police Force had sought Osinachi’s post-mortem examination, according to Dr Jeff Momoh, Chief Medical Director of National Hospital, Abuja.
To discover the reason of the popular singer’s death, a post-mortem study was sought.
Momoh stated that the hospital will not release the report to the public.
He said while speaking with Newsmen, “The report is going to the people who made the request, it won’t be disclosed to the public at all.”
Osinachi’s death in the past few days had been linked to domestic abuse by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
Following her death, Osinachi’s family was said to have demanded that an autopsy be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
The husband, however, denied the allegation levelled against him.
