The General Overseer, Christ The Lght Ministry, Bishop Solomon Aremu has disclosed that for Nigeria to overcome its present challlenges ,there is a need for Nigerians to go back to God.
Bishop Aremu stated this while speaking with journalists in Abeokuta on the 2022 Easter convention of the church holding at the church headquaters premises, Ologuneru, Ibadan.
“With all that is going on in our Nation today, we still believe only God can save us. There is no salvation elsewhere but in the name of Jesus. So, once we all come to the knowledge of this, then, we will keep looking unto Jesus and keep hoping in Him to save us.
But one of the major way He will deliver us from all this turbulence is our obedience to Him. Let both our leaders and citizens allow him to guide us, control us and direct us and we will all see that Salvation is near us.
Bishop Aremu speaking on the theme for the convention “IN HIM IS LIFE, “WHO “many Christians celebrate Easter year in year out without the basic or full knowledge of who they are even celebrating.
Just like the Scripture says, God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; the devil might not stop one from celebrating Easter but he (devil) is after robbing people of the meaning of Easter.
The cleric added that the essence God laid this Easter Convention in his heart is to gather all the members of CLGC CHURCH (CHRIST THE LIGHT GOSPEL CHURCH) and other believers together for the remembrance of the purpose of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
