A former Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District and leader of the factional All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Ayoade Adeseun has described factional Chairman of the party in Oyo State Isaac Omodewu as a gentleman even though he is not a recognised and acceptable chairman of the party in the state.
Senator Adeseun stated this while speaking with newsmen shortly after Chief Abu Gbadamosi was inaugurated as the chairman of Oyo APC held at Trans Amusement Park, Bodija Ibadan.
Adeseun explained that even though Omodewu is already reaching out but the congress that brought him was illegal and cannot allow to stay.
“it is not about Omodewu but the party and doing the right thing. No doubt, Omodewu is a perfect gentleman but the right thing must be done.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Gbadamosi assured that Oyo APC will sack the PDP led government in Oyo State and regain the control of the state.
He said all necessary reconciliation processes would be put in place and the party would come out stronger amidst the crisis.
Present at the event included immediate past ALGON chairman in the state, Prince Ayodeji Abass Alesinloye, former local government chairmen, past political appointees in the state among others.

The swearing-in ceremony, according to Newspeakonline, was held at Trans Wonderland Plc, popularly known as Amusement Park, Bodija, Ibadan.
