The President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, (POF) Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi, popularly called OPA, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the fatal accident in Ibadan on Tuesday.
Olaoluwa expressed his condolence in a statement issued by his media office on Tuesday evening in Ibadan.
He described the incident as “unfortunate and devastating,” sharing in the deep grief that had enveloped the ancient city and the immediate family of the victims.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims of the tragic accident in Ibadan.
“This sad incident has again thrown families and relatives into mourning leaving them with an unpalatable memory of their departed loved ones.”
He urged everyone to stand in solidarity, offering comfort and support to those in need.
Olaoluwa prayed that Almighty God grant the departed eternal rest and give the affected families the strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.
It was reported on Tuesday morning that the tragic incident involved trucks colliding with three micra vehicles resulting in the loss of ten lives and leaving many injured.
