A former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sherif, has disclosed that the northern part of the country had agreed to support its southern counterpart for presidency till 2031.

Sherif, in a statement on Tuesday trending online, said the region is ready to ensure Preaident Tinubu completed his two terms in 2031.

He described the opposition ADC as irrelevance and political party whose most of its leaders have since lost their relevance among their people.

“We, the leaders in the north, had an agreement to give two terms until 2031 to Southerners to produce President, and we don’t deviate from agreement.

“Even if Tinubu didn’t contest to be reelected , the north will still honour the agreement by allowing a Southerner who will spend just one term. But take it from me, Tinubu will hand over to a Northerner in 2031”

“Political jobbers who populated the ADC are merely throwing up names of big politicians from the North as potential decamped to their fold to deceive people of a popularity they don’t have.

“Even in Adamawa where Atiku is from, it’s a state under PDP today and I don’t see Atiku defeating Fintiri, afterall, the governor defeated Atiku’s candidate, Aisha Binani in 2023 and do you think Atiku’s ADC will defeat a Bala Mohammed in Bauchi State, Bala defeated Atiku’s sponsored candidate, Saidw Abubakar in 2023,” the statement concluded.
