The Senate has set up an ad hoc committee that will assign permanent sitting positions and offices to the Senators.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio announced the composition of the committee on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Wednesday.
Akpabio named Isah Jibrin, Senator representing Kogi east, as chairman, and Darlington Nwokocha, lawmaker representing Abia central, as vice chairman.
“So that next time, when you come here you will speak from your seat. You will have your permanent sitting positions and you are expected to move into your offices,” he said.
