Exchange with the Transitional President has resulted in the situation in Niger, which is calm and under control according to the delegation leader.

“We also talked about support.” It must be said, we received very strong support from Burkina Faso. As you are aware, a number of countries in the CEDEAO have decided to impose severe sanctions against Niger,” the Corps General recalled.

Salifou MODY added that in addition to the sanctions by the CEDEAO, it is a matter of military intervention. And, “during our exchanges, we spoke precisely about this situation because we do not want Niger to become a new Libya,” the head of delegation said, to whom efforts will be combined to avoid this situation.

“In coordination with our brothers from Burkina Faso, we have decided to undertake a number of activities to secure our populations and secure our two countries,” added the head of delegation of the National Council for the Protection of Homeland, Salifou MODY.
