A one-time chairman, Akinyele local government, Hon Ope Salami, has described late Governor Abiola Ajimobi as a leader and father of modern Oyo State.
Ope Salami stated this while speaking with journalists at late Governor 75th post humous birthday held at University of Ibadan.
He described projects embarked upon by the late governor while in office as people driven and legacy projects, which generations yet unborn will still come to appreciate.
He said Oyo state was lucky to have such a leader at the time of his coming to government in 2011-2019, which marked the turning point for infrastructural development in Oyo State.
He urged Progressives in Oyo State to continue to celebrate the ideals , vision, and good governance, which Ajimobi stood for in his lifetime.
