The remains of Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland, Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan has been laid to rest.
The Janazah prayer was led by the chief imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniy Agbotomokekere.
Our correspondent also reported that there was also Janazah prayer for the late Chief imam, National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations (NACOMYO), Dr Hashim Abdul Azeez which was held along with that of late Adesokan.
Alhaji Rasheed Adeniyi Mofolorunso Akangbe Adesokan, Baale of Bodija is died on Saturday, 25th of March, 2023 after a brief illness.
The Janazah prayer held at the University College Hospital Mosque was led by the Chief imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniy Agbotomokekere.
Also, beside the remains of Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan was the body of another Islamic leader in the state, Dr Hashim Abdul Azeez who until his death was the Chief Imam, National Council of Muslim Youth Organizations ( NACOMYO), Oyo State.
The remains of Baale Adesokan was later moved to Eternal Home where it was interred .
Speaking with BCOS news, some of the close associates of the deceased eulogised his Sterling qualities, his contributions to Islam, community and humanity.
Baale Adesokan hails from Akeetan, Oyo and retired from the Nigeria Army as Captain.
Baale Adesokan who was the last surviving child of his parents was Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland.
He was also a public affairs and social commentator as well as notable guest on various BCOS news and current affairs.
He was aged 75 and survived by wife and children.
