Nigeria Flying Eagles defeated Argentina 2-0 in the early hours of Thursday to qualify for the Under-20 2023 World Cup quarter-finals.
The match which took place at the San Juan del Bicentenario had Ibrahim Muhammad opened scores for Ladan Bosso’s boys before Rilwanu Sarki made it 2-0 in the first minute of added time to send the record six-time U-20 world champions packing from the tournament.
The Flying Eagles are now set to face South Korea or Ecuador in the next round.
