Kano governor Resigns from NNPP over ‘Persistent Internal Disputes’
Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, has formally resigned from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
In a letter addressed to the chairman of Diso-Chiranchi ward in Gwale LGA of Kano, the governor cited “deepening internal crises” and “prolonged leadership disputes” as key reasons for his exit. However, many see this exit as Yusuf’s prelude to doing the All Progressives Congress, APC.
