As Nigeria clocks 62 years of Independence, a candidate for the House of Assembly seeking to represent Ido state constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Hon Semiu Opeyemi Folarin has called on Nigerians especially the people of Ido State constituency to keep praying for the continued peace of the nation and the constituency.
Hon Folarin stated this in his Independence anniversary message made available to journalists in Ibadan.
He called on the people of Ido state constituency to get prepared to take ownership of their constituency, Oyo state and Nigeria by voting for all candidates of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) during 2023 general elections.
He said many great minds have quietly been making great sacrifices in the best interest of the nation, adding that they should resolve to further the onerous task of nation building.
Hon Folarin who in 2021 believed to had won the local government election in Ido local government during the Oyo state local government election on the platform of Zenith Labour Party assured people of Ido state constituency that he will not let them down if eventually emerged a lawmaker in 2023.
“As we celebrate this great occasion, I implore all of my people in Ido to renew their commirment towards building a greater Ido state constituency with equal dividends of democracy to all.
Hon Folarin then wished all a memorable Independence day anniversary.
