Comrade Mashood Erubami, renown Human Rights Activist and a Progressive Politician had strongly condemned former Nigeria Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, IBB over some of the comments in his book launched recently, ‘’A JOURNEY IN SERVICE’

Erubami in a statement on Tuesday described the book as injurious and called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Proclaim Chief M.K.O Abiola as a former President in Nigeria

Comrade Mashood Erubami , hopeful Representative of the Egbeda Ona Ara federal Constituency in the coming 2027 said the book failed in all tests to exonerate IBB from his guilt of treason and disservices to the Nation.

The fierce Activist sharply condemned IBB annulment of June 12 and held him responsible for the failure of Nigeria and its inability to manage the ‘military transition to civil rule’ to accomplish democracy in the last 32 years, haltng all attempts to make the laws to rule, not guaranteeing human rights and creating disenabling conditions for unfettered freedom for the press.

The renown Human Rights Advocate asserted that Ordinarily, the title of the book, ‘A Journey In Service’ is a mis normal, describing it as incomplete because the journey itself was an encounter of evil hence renamed it “A journey in evil diservice.”

According to the hopeful incoming Representative in the coming Election in 2027, said, “IBB the Author of the book did not demonstrate guilt at the book launch and his lack of remorse made the storieshis contained in the book unacceptable,as rather than clean his infamy only made him more a certified betrayer.

” IBB , in the book, did not demonstrate remorse. Therefore,
As a principal pro democracy advocate, he strongly denounced the seeming solidarity gathering of some notable Nigerian leaders at the book launch a mistaken support meant to celebrate the unjustifiable murder of some democratic leaders and human rights Activists who were in the forefront of the pro June 12 struggles describing the unjustifiable detention and the incarceration of many as anti people..

In fact,” the gathering at the book launch became unbefitting and inappropriately unreasonable after the Culprit of the annulment admitted to treason and subversion taking responsibility for all missteps, and mistakes , errors of omissions and commissions that made him incontrovertibly liable immediately for arrest , detention and prosecution for the offences he agreed to have committed.

Comrade Erubami stated that since Abacha on whose head IBB put all the blame from the annulment is no more, IBB should be immediately arrested and dealt with judiciously and judicially

He therefore strongly denounced the roles played by IBB and his cohorts in the annulment, recommending that his names should be placed in the black book of the nation towards consigning his name into the stenching dustbin of history. !

The notable Activist called on the current Civilian government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to commence the immediate giving of posthumous Awards and honors for those who laid down their lives in the struggle for the annulment of the June 12 election and recommended the official National acknowledgement of the heroism of all leaders of Campaign for Democracy ( CD) NADECO, and other Democratic groups who participated and had continued to fight for the reversal of the deannulment of that election. This, in their belief that Chief MKO actually won the June 12 election.

Above all, the Current President having heard from the real Culprit that annulled the June 12 election, having also admitted to its treason and subversion publicly, should now be more embolden to call out the figures recorded for the election, to proclaim Chief MK O as the real globally accepted Winner of the June 12 election to also announce officially so.

His photographs should thereafter be placed appropriately among the other Presidents that are hunged on the walls of States and National Offices as a testimony of Chief MKO victory in the election and that of Nigerians for their steadfast and unwavering struggle for the deanullument of the election.
