Some suspected thugs have reportedly broken into the secretariat of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, on Saturday.

NUJ secretariat is not far from the Crowther College which houses a considerable number of polling units.

According to a video shared on X (Twitter) by Punch, the hoodlums stormed in with cars and a motorcycle and were seen haggling over mobilisation fees for the elections before being eventually kicked out by security operatives.
