..Ibarapa North Local Government Chairmanship Aspirant, Siji Ganiyu Greet Residents, Congratulates Makinde

As Nigerians celebrate the 2023 Democracy Day, a Chairmanship aspirant of Ibarapa North Local Government, Sanitarian Siji Ganiyu has described June 12, 1993 as a legacy for free, fair and credible elections and a memorial that Nigerians stoutly rose above ethnic and religious sentiments.

He stated this in his democracy day message to Nigerians in general and the people of the state in a statement from his media office.

He described June 12 as a reference point for credible elections as demonsted by the Nigerian voters.

He likened the June 12, 1993 experience to that of Governor Seyi Makinde re-election of March 18th 2023 when the majority of voters in the state troop out to support the coming back of Governor Seyi Makinde.

He stated that Nigeria had come a long way in democratic practice, noting that the country’s democratic experience was developing by the day.

Ganiyu urged the people of Ibarapa North Local Government to remain united and called for prayers for Governor Seyi Makinde.
