The Ogun State High Court has dismissed the case instituted by the ousted speaker, Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo, affirming Rt Hon. Elemide Oludaisi as authentic speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly.
All the questions raised in his petition were resolved in favour of the defendants ( Members of Ogun State House of Assembly headed by Rt Hon Elemide Oludaisi).
This has finally put to rest the weather the house on January 23rd, 2024, followed due to the process in the removal of Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo.
Justice Ogunfowora, in his very deep, well researched judgement, affirmed that the House has the right to regulate its own activities in accordance with the Constitution of the FRN.
