LETTER OF CONDOLENCE

The news of your mother’s death, Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola, came to me as a rude shock.

I am saddened by the news of the passing of this loving mother, which sad event happened in the early hours of today.

Mama Wulemot Aweni Babalola’s passage is painful, not only to her immediate family, but to all who encountered her and felt her warmth and acts of charity.

A devout Muslim and an entrepreneur who devoted her life to productive ventures and showed her children the path to success.

As I pray for the repose of the soul of the departed, I admonish my brother Ademola Babalola to take solace in the fact that his mother was a
woman of virtue, who led an exemplary life.

I pray that God will give the family, the fortitude to bear the loss.

Lanre Ogundipe
Former President
Nigeria Union of Journalists
