Former Chairman, Akinyele Local Government, Hon Ope Salami has congratulated the Oyo State 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Teslim Folarin on his elevation to Aare Alaasa of Ibadan land by the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi Olakulelehin.
Ope Salami in a release on Friday described the elevation as well deserved and a thing of joy.
Salami stated that Folarin has contributed immensely to the development of Ibadan land and Oyo State in general in diverse ways.
He wishes him good health and wisdom to discharge his duties in the new role.
Also, the former Council Boss congratulated Hon Fatai Ibikunle on his appointment to the board of Southwest Development Commission.
Ibikunle was on Friday appointed as a member of the board on Friday.
Salami described Ibikunle who is also on the board of Code of Conduct bureau as a leader with great qualities worthy of emulation.
He wishes the two chieftains many more successes in life.
