Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC in Osun State, Dr Mutiu Agboke has urged muslims across the country to ensure their actions be in line with the directives of Allah and the teachings of the Prophets.
Dr Agboke made this call at a public lecture organised to commemorate formal opening of the 1444 Jihad week held with the at Islamic Centre, University of Ibadan Central Mosque.
Speaking during his lecture titled: Levelling up, Dr Agboke called on muslims to worship and remember Almighty Allah in whatever they do.
The former Oyo INEC REC said levelling up should be in accordance with the instructions of Allah while every action backed with good intention of serving Allah shall be rewarded by him
In his remarks , an Islamic Scholar Prof Afeez Oladosu who said youthful stage is the most productive and challenging in human existence urged the youths to live a quality life
The Ameer of Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria , University of Ibadan Chapter ,Obakemi Ibrahim , urged muslims to thread the right way so as to gain paradise
HE added that the purpose of the Jihad week according to is to propagate Islam and change the contradictory negative believe that Jihad means fighting or warfarin as often misconceptualised
