The Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, (BCOS) Ile Akede, Orita, Bashorun Ibadan was Wednesday afternoon gutted by fire.
A studio specially dedicated to the recording of popular programme on the station “Soo Daa Bee” was burnt while equipments that can not be identified as at the time of writing the story.
Men of the Oyo State fire service, Federal Fire Service, Officers of the Oyo State Police Command, Agodi area command, officers of the Nigeria Airforce, Ibadan, NSCDC among others were on ground to forestall further spread of the fire.
