Democracy Day: Ibadan Mogaji, Abiodun Congratulates Nigerians, Lauds Tinubu On Good Governance


Mogaji Olubadan, Lato’s Compound, Labo, Ibadan, Mogaji (Prof) Gbolagade Abiodun has congratulated Nigerians and the people of the people of Oyo State on the occasion of Nigeria‚Äôs 24th Democracy Day celebration.

He also lauded the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led APC administration for the feat im the last one year which has transforming the nation.

Abiodun in a release through his media office in Ibadan to celebrate this year Democracy Day recalled the varying interventions of the Tinubu’s administration government in bettering the lives of Nigeria people especially amidst the current economic difficulties.

The renowned Educationist noted that its achievements have made Nigeria a reference point in the comity of nations in the continent understanding fully well major problems still need to be tackled.

“Today, marks another milestone in the annals of our democratic process.

” Democracy all over the world has proven to be the most sustainable system of government and our dear country, Nigeria is seen to be blessed having gone through twenty four years of uninterrupted democratic governance.

In the same vein, the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is celebrating one year of purpose-driven governance.

On this memorable occasion, I extend heartfelt greetings to people of Nigeria, Oyo State and my immediate constituency, Oluyole Federal Constituency in particular, for tirelessly steering a democratic system of government despite daunting national challenges.

” Democracy has given us the most inspiring opportunity to transform Nigeria into the nation we desire. What we celebrate today is an outcome of huge sacrifices made by Nigerians of all walks of life.”

Mogaji Abiodum added that APC led administration has shown great courage in stemming the tide of corruption, in construction and reconstruction of our roads, in investment in agriculture for food sustainability, and youth engagement, among others.

He then called on the government to take advantage of the national and international support it enjoys to reform Nigeria and make the nation great.
