Abiodun Threatens To Shut Business Stores That Rejects Old Naira Notes In Ogun

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has threatens to shut down any shops or business centres that reject old 500 or 1000 naira notes.

Abiodun stated this during a meeting with leadership of Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) held at Agbeloba house, Abeokuta.

The Governor also promise to Revoke Certificate Of Occupancy, C of O Of any Store Rejecting Old Notes From Members Of The Public In The State.

Governor Abiodun is of the opinion that there is an existing Supreme Court order which says old notes remain a legal tender in the nation.
