As the 2023 general election gathers momentum, an House of Representatives candidate for Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency Agbaakin Olalere Akinrinde has described the All Progressives Congress and People’s Democratic Party as bed of same feather that flocks together.
Agbaakin Akinrinde stated this while featuring on a Radio Programme in Ibadan Bebe Nlo Xtra Anchored by AJibola Akinyefa said the two political parties have failed Nigerians.
“Is there any difference between Six and have a dozen? The answer is no.Unarguably APC and PDP have failed Nigerians since the commencement of another Civil rule in 1999. Abosolutely nothing is working in Nigeria.
“I see no right thinking person who will be comfortable with the way things are going in Nigeria. The future of Nigeria is in jeopardy if we allow these set of leaders continue to govern us in 2023.It is high time electorate should ask pertinent questions from political office holders and hold them accountable for what they have done. By doing this it will safe the Nigeria nascent democracy from total collapse.”Agbaakin said
According to Agbaakin who retired as Deputy director from the Central Bank of Nigeria said he is passionate about about development of Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency through facilitation of meaningful development and programmes from federal government.
“I am from Ajeogbo village in Lagelu local government..I Know almost every nook and cranny of Lagelu and Akinyele local governments and knows where shoes pinches in the area of meaningful development.The rail station and Germ stone Market sited in Akinyele Local government by federal government was a coincidence and not from either either federal representative and senator “
” All what we need before, during and after the general election is to identify with individual character of candidates and his/her antecedents.This can at least help to select credible people into positions of authority.”Agbaakin Stated.
The SDP House of Representatives candidate for Lagelu/ Akinyele federal constituency also urged his constituents to support him in the lower chamber in the February 2023 general election and bring much needed development to the 26 wards in Lagelu-akinyele federal constituency.
