Oyo state Governorship hopeful and President, Peter Olaoluwa Foundation, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA has felicitates the Acting Chairman, Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress Hon. Olayide Abas on his Emergence.
Olaoluwa in a release through his media office, said with the Emergence of Hon. Abas, it’s a new dawn for APC as a party in Oyo State.
“I receive the news of your Emergence as with joy and high expectations knowing fully well your political antecedents not only in the state but across the country.
“Indeed, the Oyo APC is now on the pedestal of greatness and accomplishments, especially as we draw close to an all-important by election of the Ibadan north federal constituency, which will be your first assignment.”
Olaoluwa extolled the qualities of the new acting chairman, who he described as one of the last man standing for core progressives in the state
He said the large expanse of the acting chairman political experience and unshaken stance in ideals of core progressives, restating strong belief that Abas is coming at an important time to lead the party through its present phase.
Alhaji Abas’s appointment follows the death of the previous chairman, Barrister Isaac Omodewu, marking a significant shift in the party’s leadership.
