The remains of Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu(JP), mother of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, CON, has been received in Owo amidst fun-fair.
The people of Owo rolled out drums in their hundreds to receive the remains of the Governor’s mother.
Earlier, a commendation service had been held at Diocese of Ibadan (Anglican Communion), St Anne’s Church, Molete, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The remains of the deceased, which was conveyed from Ibadan, was received by the people of Owo at Emure-Ile junction.
The deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa and other members of the State Executive council; Heads of Security agencies; political leaders and other dignitaries joined the people to receive the remains of the late Grace Akeredolu to Owo.
The long motorcade accompanied her remains to Jacob and Grace residence in Oke-Ogun.
