At least five suspects were arrested in connection with the killing of one commercial motorcyclist, Adewuyi Okunlade on Wednesday night along Odo-Oba/Alausa road in Ogo-Oluwa local government area of Oyo state.
It was learnt that late Adewuyi was hacked to death while conveying two Togo nationals to Alausa with attempt of stealing his motorcycle.
Speaking to Journalists in Ogbomoso, Olu of Obada,Oba Samuel Oyekunle said a suspect was initially apprehended by vigilante group,adding that other suspects were arrested in different locations by Operation Burst and police.
When contacted in his office,the Area Commander, Ogbomoso Area Police Command,Mr Adebiyii Ademola declined to react to the incident but later directed our correspondent to Force PPRO in the state as the case has been transfered to Police Headquarters for further investigation.
