Oyo State Governorship hopeful, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) has solicited the support of local government party chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 11 local governments area of Ibadan
Olaoluwa who was represented at the meeting by one of his aide Rev Joseph Ademola Dopamu explained that it is time for progressives to take over the reins of government in the state.
He stated that the APC is determined to be the change that the people have been yearning for.
He expressed gratitude to the leaders for their support, while also informing them there are plans to alleviate the plight of the people of Oyo State in the areas of health, education, pension and economic empowerment.
On healthcare, he said if given an opportunity to serve in the capacity of the state Governor, he will effective healthcare for children and women, especially, while also revamping existing healthcare facilities and constructing new ones.
He informed them that the APC administration under his watch will come to the aid of teachers, who have been clamouring for improved cooperative societies and better working conditions. “We will help them deliver that,” he said.
In their separate responses, the chairmen commended the courage of Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi and his readiness to vie for the party Governorship ticket.
