A first class king and paramount ruler in Oyo state, the Okere of Saki, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III on Monday losses his Queen to the cold hands of death.
Queen Waliyat’s death has thrown the town into mourning, leaving the community in shock and grief.
As news of her passing spread, indigenes of Saki took to social media to pay tribute to the late queen, sharing heartfelt condolences and memories of her elegance and impactful contributions to the palace and community. The cause of her death remains unknown.
The late Olori was a staff at the Federal Secretariat, Ibadan, and will be buried today according to Islamic rites.
