Olubadan of Ibadan Was A Compassionate Leader, Father, Mogaji Oladoja Mourns

The Mogaji of Akinsola’s compound, Opopo Labiran, Ibadan, Olawale Oladoja has said the late Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun Okumade the second, was a compassionate leader and father.

Oladoja in a release at the weekend this while extending his heartfelt condolences to the Oyo State government and the Royal family, the Olubadan-in-council and entire people of Ibadan on the exit of the first class monarch.

Oladoja said Oba Balogun was a father so compassionate and full of wisdom during his lifetime.

He said his passage leaves a huge void to fill, and urges the people of Ibadan to imbibe the great qualities of the late king.

He described the reign of Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun as peaceful, with lots of developmental successes which included the completion of Olubadan palace started many years ago as well as installation of Oba’s during his time.

Oladoja prays God to grant the soul of Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun eternal rest and comfort the family, friends, associates and subjects he left behind.”
