An Aspirant for the governorship seat in the state, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi (OPA) has described the Wednesday night passage of Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe as shocking and devastating.
Olaoluwa in a statement through his media office on Thursday said the legacies of Late Oba Adebimpe will never be forgotten.
Olaoluwa stated that the late Oba stood for the progress of Ibadanland and Oyo state till the very end not minding the difficulties and obstacles at each time on his ways.
He described late Oba Adebimpe as accommodating, patriotic and loving father figure who always care for all those around him and associates.
He condoled with the family and pray God to grant his soul repose in Aljanah.
