“We also talked about support.” It must be said, we received very strong support from Burkina Faso. As you are aware, a number of countries in the CEDEAO have decided to impose severe sanctions against Niger,” the Corps General recalled.
Salifou MODY added that in addition to the sanctions by the CEDEAO, it is a matter of military intervention. And, “during our exchanges, we spoke precisely about this situation because we do not want Niger to become a new Libya,” the head of delegation said, to whom efforts will be combined to avoid this situation.
