The Convener, Isokan Ipinle Oyo, Dr Laolu Adepoju has congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadan land Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on his ascension to the throne of his fore fathers.
Adepoju in a statement through his media office assured the new Olubadan of his support and wished him success as he works to promote and preserve the culture and traditions of Ibadan land.
Adepoju advised the monarch to use the highly esteemed stool of Ibadan to advance the peace, security, and development of the area.
The statement also congratulates the new Olubadan, leadership of Central Council of Ibadan, Indigenes (CCII), sons and daughters of Ibadan land on the successful completion of Ibadan modern palace.
He described the palace as one of the most beautiful with well refined aesthetic and modern day design.
Adepoju congratulated the Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for his respect for tradition and culture of Ibadan land, not minding distractions during the process.
He commended the governor for ensuring peaceful succession process and prayed that the peace, beauty, and renown of Ibadan will abide always.
