The former Oyo State commissioner under late Abiola Ajimobi who is currently a Federal Commissioner with Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Hon Bimbo Kolade on Thursday announced the passing of his mother, Deaconess Modupeola Aduke Kolade.
According to the statement issued, Deaconess Modupeola Aduke Kolade, passed on to glory on Thursday 28th March, 2024, the day that happened to be her 87th birthday.
Late Deaconess Kolade was born in Osogbo on 28th March 1937 and died 28th March 2024.
Mama retired as a headmistress and was at a time appointed Vice Chairman and Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Education, Women affairs and Social works of the old Osogbo local government.
She served as a director of women missionary union of Osun Baptist Conference.
Mama is survived by several children, grand and great grand children
