The Council of Traditional Baale, Ibadan land has rejoiced with the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty Oba Sen.Dr. Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Alli Okunmade II on his two years coronation anniversary.
The Council in a statement issued in Ibadan by the Founding Father & Chairman BOT Elder Dr. Taye Ayorinde the Baale Ekotedo and the President of the Council, Baale Oladapo Wasiu Aare on behalf of all the Baale in Ibadan land which was made available to journalists through its publicity secretary, Baale (Elder) Kayode Bamiduro felicitate with the Kabiesi for two years of peaceful reign.
The Council of Traditional Baale, Ibadan land expressed joy that Oba Balogun’s reign has brought tremendous development to Ibadan in many spheres and it really calls for celebrations.
The Council prayed that God in His infinite mercy would continue to grant the Olubadan good health and wisdom to preside over the affairs of Ibadan land many years to come.
The statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Council and Baale of Isajin Ibadanland Baale Elder Kayode Bamiduro also congratulate the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on the Governor of the year Award bestowed on him by the Leadership newspaper.
It added that the award was a demonstration of his tireless efforts to transform Oyo State to a model for other states to emulate.
The Council also appreciate his effort to complete the new Olubadan palace as one of its kind throughout the African continent. While prayed for a successful tenure of his administration and that God will give Oyo State a successor that will continue the good works and legacy being put in place in the state by His Excellency.
