The Senator representing Ogun West and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, has advocate for president Tinubu from Nigerians, urged residents of Ogun State to continue supporting the leadership of President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it remains committed to reducing the hardship Nigerians are currently going through, assuring of better days in no distant future.
This is just as the senator, fondly called Yayi also donated over N50m and 50 bags of rice to members of his Senatorial district comprising five local governments as his show of love to the constituents on the occasion of Christmas.
Each of the 59 wards in the Senatorial district received a sum of N500,000 and 10 bags of rice for the celebration of Christmas.
This is in addition to various sub-groups like the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, the League of Imams, Traditional Rulers, Baales, and others who received donations of cash, rice, cows, and hampers from the Senator.
Speaking in a statement sent to journalists on Monday, Senator Adeola said his motive for the gesture was to ensure everyone has a memorable Christmas notwithstanding the challenging times the nation is going through.
