In a move to strengthen its chances in the upcoming council elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta South Local Government has shortlisted three exceptional aspirants for the coveted position of Local Government Chairman. This decision follows a rigorous selection process involving over 23 aspirants from the 15 Wards of the local government.
After a thorough deliberations, respected APC leaders and elders endorsed the following three candidates:
- Balogun Olaniyi Afeez
- Odetayo Bolade Mutiu
- Yinka Adegun
The endorsement was made at a meeting convened by Leaders, where the trio emerged as the preferred choice.
The three shortlisted names has been forwarded to the Governor for further review and selection.
