As encomiums keep pouring in to celebrate the 75th Posthumous birthday of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, a frontline governorship hopeful of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state, Olaoluwa Peter Abidemi popularly called OPA, has described the life of the former governor has exemplary, judging by the impact his good works keep making, even after his passing.
Olaoluwa, in a release on Monday in Ibadan through his media office to celebrate late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, said the good works of Ajimobi will continue to speak after his exit.
Olaoluwa described late Governor Ajimobi as the only governor of Oyo state who transited and still being very celebrated yearly, saying that his remembrance shows clearly that he lived very well for the good people of Oyo state and Nigeria.
The Chartered Accountant turned politician said I knew former Governor Ajimobi to be a very blunt person and straightforward person whose virtue has assisted him in the political trajectory to become senator, governor of Oyo state and acting national chairman of All Progressives Congress.
Our late leader was also blessed with countless sense of humour, and this had made people appreciate him the more.
“For me and my supporters across the state, we will continue to celebrate our leader and father for who he was during his lifetime and the good name and legacies he left behind.
“We thank Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, for standing in the gap and for keeping the flag flying even after years of our leader’s departure. It indeed gladdens our heart. May the soul of our revered father continue to rest on.”
