“I was not in Abeokuta to see Obasanjo because of 2027,” stated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, emphasizing that the meeting was simply a courtesy call.
After a two-hour private meeting, Atiku, the PDP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, addressed journalists and emphasized that his visit was not politically motivated or related to upcoming elections.
“It is a courtesy visit. I’m not going to talk about 2027 or politics. I’m not here because of 2027,” he added.
